We want your cycling clothes to last a long time, so here's some guidance on how to care for them. Sunscreen on the fabric or elastic can cause discoloration and deterioration over time, so take care when applying it. After a ride, if you can't wash your garments immediately, then hang dry to get the moisture out. Sweat can cause elastic fabrics to deteriorate over time.

Ideally, wash cycling clothes separate from your other laundry. Wash jerseys, bibs, and base layers separately from any garments that have velcro, as velcro will cause fabric pilling. Zip-up jerseys and turn them inside out for washing. This prevents zippers from snagging and damaging fabric. Machine wash on delicate cycle in warm water. Don't use any laundry additives such as fragrance pods, softeners, or bleach products. Hang garments or lay them flat to dry. Do not tumble dry.
